Hi John, So your saying that SCx can not do "if-then-else" statements? What about "do-while" statements? Not sure what an "EL variable" is. Does SCx let you set up variables? It must be recursive from your postings on AMA etc? I have WOW and I like it alot. I just want to be able to do some things that this price point (WOW, MS, SCx, etc.) does not seem to have the ability to do. It may all be an exercise in lint extraction but I won't know if I don't try and I've always been one to have to learn for myself. Got all the scars to prove it. Are you writing any indicators in your Visual Basic and if you are, what data provider are you using? Thanks for the response and good hunting, David We may both figure out that the best methods revolve around the standard indicators that are included in the mid priced sw packages ie:ma's, stochastics, rsi, etc, etc.. But the way I look at it someone had to come up with these at some point. When they did they were probably considered revolutionary. Who knows what we might find or stumble into too. Not to mention this is probably the most enjoyable part of TA for me even if it is just an excuse to exercise the synaps.
