I'm afraid you don't understand my point. My argument is with respect to fairness.

I can't see any rationale for people with assets in excess of 10 million that pay less in taxes than those with assets of 50K or less. Except that it happens all the time, in literally every high tech company that is successful. The lower net worth people should have their taxes lowered, or things should be evened out somehow.

I personally think the fact that nobody with any real money has any vested interest in lowering fica - because they pay almost nothing into it - is a lot of the reason it is as out of control as it is.

I'm not a big fan of reverse robin hood laws personally.
