re AKAM and Mirror Image..
I have heard that story repeatedly, but I have not really read a plausible scenario where Akamai would be so desperate as to (1) try to totally disrupt Xcelera and by proxy Mirror Image (2) how this disruption could be done without the story eventually leaking out, which would ruin and discredit Akamai long term. Would they take such a gamble? If Akamai is "tape recorders" trying to bash "CD players" (Mirror Image), won't the technological advantages play themselves out soon enough, anyway??

I am not so smart to work it out on my own. Nor am I so naive to think such things don't happen. I just have not seen the details, just heard from the grandstand pilots at 30,000 feet saying, "Yep, I see it down there" ..and no further information about Akamai.
