Sudan: Minister Inaugurates New Oil Export Pumping Station In North Text of report in English by Sudanese news agency Suna on 17th August Khartoum, 17th August: Energy and Mining Minister Dr Awad Ahmad al-Jaz [has] inaugurated [on] Wednesday [16th August] the station of oil pumping Number (6) of the oil export pipeline at Hayya area [northern Sudan], which is to increase the capacity of the pipeline by 40,000 barrels per day. The station is constructed by Sudanese expertise. The minister commended the efforts and successes realized by Sudanese technicians and engineers.
