Brian:<Some of us don't believe..> that all ideas were stolen?

<People like Rutherford and Bohr did early work with electrons.
Perhaps their estates should sue every firm...> If I remember it correctly, it was slightly more than 17 years ago, was not it?

<Better yet, since INTEL developed, manufactured and sold the first
microprocessor it should be able to sue anyone else who has made a
microprocessor in the past 25 years?> Again, dear Brian, you forgot
the law: the 17 years already expired, thanks to the time continuety.
All the suits are based on current law, nothing else.

So, what we have now? The technological leader appears to be a technological thief? It was a very clever move: talk about to buy ALPHA technology, look at documentation, grasp key ideas, and tell that they are not interested in the deal any more? Not bad. Smart guys. Go Intel.
