If anyone is interested in whether the CTXS disaster could have been predicted, they might want to check out the new issue of Worth magazine. There's an article on this fund manager who goes both long and short, and the lead example of his style is a description of how and why he went massively short CTXS just before the disaster. He covered at 22, for a 60+% profit in a few days. No link available yet, read it in the deadtree version. tekboy@CTXScasualty.pov
