Hi Jim, From chip temperature sensors, to audio chips, to security devices, among others, it seems that ADI is trying to grab as much circuit board real estate as it can. Interestingly, this puts it exactly in line with what Intel is trying to do. ADI is where Intel wants to be. I'd be very surprised if the rumors of an Intel takeover were NOT true. Don't think that an Intel takeover is in the best interests of ADI shareholders in the long term, but short term it could be nicely profitable. Just a random thought. Take it easy. Tom C.
