Most of my options {only one broke even} gain around 400%+ Back during Bre-x my puts on a Canadian Bank {which held Bre-x} made 2400% 2 days before expiration. I speculate. Your course of investing is less dangerous. Writing puts, buying the stock and writing leaps is a good idea for many investors. But your upside is limited. I heard about the US margin requirements, they do seem excessive. But, I suspect that if you took a course on options & derivatives you may find out that the brokerage firm will offer lower margin limits. Hutch PS: Making money is the name of the game... any profit is a good profit. Hope you too make a bundle.
