Digital River Teams with Net Perceptions to Offer Clients Advanced Personalization Services

Digital River Clients Can Purchase Premium Realtime Personalization Functionality

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 2000-- Digital River, Inc. (Nasdaq: DRIV - news), the world's largest Commerce Service Provider (CSP), today completed a services integration with Net Perceptions, Inc. (Nasdaq: NETP - news), a recognized leader in commerce analytics and personalization. For Digital River clients who choose to purchase advanced personalization capabilities such as product recommendations based on individual preferences, Digital River is offering a premium service based on Net Perceptions' Web Recommendation Channel.

The advanced personalization service is the newest addition to Digital River's E-Marketing Services suite and is designed to help clients drive site traffic and maximize revenue opportunities. The Net Perceptions' offering, which benefits end-customers, completes Digital River's suite of personalization services. Digital River also offers client administrative tools such as Enterprise Campaign Manager (ECM) which is based on E.piphany, a leading provider of intelligent customer interaction software.

The Net Perceptions' Web Recommendation Channel specifically tracks visitor and customer preferences, as they click, to provide individually targeted recommendations. The objective is to get more people to buy, buy more and buy more often.
