Great work, Jim. I remember that II article (and the trashing we did here) and their low-ball price target (around $50?) for anyone waiting to get on the J-train. Opportunity lost for anyone who waited based on that call.

Meanwhile, CNBC mentioned this morning that J. Osha has made a call that the semi industry's "mid-cycle correction" is over, and he lifted his growth targets for many in the sector, including ADI. No link yet.

I'm done trashing these analysts. It's not fair, and it's too easy. As far as I know, looking at the numbers and listening to the CEO's, there simply was no mid-cycle correction. There may have been a brief pause in the handset arena (waiting for GSM?) but otherwise the momentum never waned.

Maybe mid-cycle correction is a code phrase for Hamptons-on-the-brain?
