first priority isn't the word I get for WSTL in regard to Alcatel chips. Your PR clipping doesn't address my point Michael, First priority isn't addressed at all. We can safely say ALA has multiple deals to supply chipsets to various customers...but who really has First Priority? WSTL's SEC filing clearly states they have no long term contracts and they are not assured of a consistant supply. As for VRTA from what I understand their helium chip isn't a complete solution...am I right or wrong?? If I'm right VRTA is not able to pickup where ALA drops off...someone else has to supply a portion of the solution. Also if it is a complete solution....why are they working with ADI and why does AWRE say it's not a complete solution? As for Centillium...I'm not even going to go there without solid information to confirm that. I will say...IMO...there exists a larger demand than the supply available, so companies will do what it takes to get the needed products.
