Richard- Good point about having multiple s/w and not using it. As you know I worked out the ADX trade last year starting with MetaStock and bought TradeStation in the process of bringing closure. I finally got the trade, system test and scan working accurately. At that point, all the development power of TS ceased to be necessary. I used the server and the charting and that was it. Now I have InterQuote and can't even use the server anymore! But the MS Exploration I had gotten working earlier was every bit as good for finding the setup the day ahead as TS... MS just couldn't do the system test. If I'd ignored making the system test "perfect", I'd have been able to do everything with MS. I think getting good at one tool is far better than being pretty good with a lot of them. Keeps you focused on the destination. Besides, there's nothing out there that will ever have everything that we think we "need". What we really need is a successful trading system and that can be had without spending a ton of $$$ on tools. Want to tell us what tools you were using when you started trading with TA? :-) Bruce
