You need neither information nor knowledge to make money on one stock in the short term.

To make lots of money on a diversified portfolio of stocks over a long period of time is an entirely different matter.

If you make your own decisions you need to transform information into knowledge in order to achieve this goal.

You don't have to work on the street to do so. Why bother? Get rich on brain power.
