HLIT up on takeover talk. 12:18 ET Harmonic (HLIT) 28 1/16 +5 3/16 (+22.7%): Bid up amid rumors that ADC Telecommunications (ADCT) will make a bid for the designer of digital and fiber optic systems. HLIT has traded 3.9 mln shares today vs avg. daily turnover of 3.4 mln.
