What?

FICA phases out at $76,200. 15.3% Including the employer 1/2 contribution. Max that is required to be paid in FICA:

11,658.

5,829 From the employee.
5,829 from the employer.

edit: There is no cap on Medicare. Add 2.9% total to all above 76,200.
