If any of you still hold FFS, there is a lot of good discussion on the Yahoo FFS thread. It is believed the FFS sale may be as soon as next week.

Here is a cite to an article that explains how FFS got into trouble. It over paid for forestry land in 1996. It was not just the Asian crisis. I wish I had know this several years ago. This article shows that Dessauer let his subscribers down by not doing continuing deep research on this pick. If he had talked to others in the New Zealand forestry industry he would have seen the potential problem and could have advised "get out" instead of "buy more of this fine company". messages.yahoo.com
