ftth, Suffice it to say it is FAR more complex an issue than it appears to the untrained eye. A nice post. The nuts and bolts of ATHM's operation is a 'hard reality' that does not lend itself well to being spun, it is too easy for everyone to see the results. Management digs deeper holes for itself -and in turn, irresponsibly for we the shareholders- when they fail to properly educate themselves prior to opening their mouths. Even worse would be that they have knowledge of the difficulty involved and paint a rosey picture because 'perception' demands it. Fallout is what results when projection and perception encounter reality and they are not in phase with one another.
