This Congressional Budget Office report on taxes is interesting. If it has already appeared here, I missed it.

It shows several things that I have wondered about and never seen. In addition to the income tax numbers that are frequently seen, it shows the entire Federal tax burden allocated to the families that pay directly or indirectly by purchasing goods and services. It shows how the five basic income categories relate to the poverty level. It is about 7 pages of data in several tables, and it is very interesting.
