My initial reaction is that Intel won't be able to provide a first rate product as well as the individual companies specializing in it. Sort of a "jack of all trades - master of none". My first modem was an Intel Satisfaxion. I now use a USRX. It seems to me such a chip will have its greatest impact on further economy in the consumer market. The downside is that anything goes wrong and the whole thing gets replaced. I don't think the corporate market will be much interested. Regards, Fred Weiss
