>>WATCH OUT! Now could be a really good time to accumulate FORE before this release does come out. News like this will give FORE a good boost, and the stock should get another good rise with the ATM trade show in June.<<

I have been watching this thread for a while, and now that I've paid my entry fee, I can respond to this particular string of messages that I find most counterproductive. I find it surprising that many people seem to be acting on this "hollow" advice.

First, the "hunch"
Some guy says he has a hunch and acts like it is insider information. Everyone was waiting for some juicy tidbit (legal or otherwise). If it was anything, it would have been posted with the first message. Why didn't people realize that what was being said was "I think something is going to happen, but I haven't got the slightest idea what it is".

Then the "release"
Big Interop announcement that goes unnoticed of relationship between Microsoft and FORE. No announcement. Just a regenerated rumor from a Mar 3rd article. If there was any real value to the announcement, we would have seen immediate and substantial price movement. Don't any FORE followers also watch Citrix (CTXS)?

I'm often amused by little exchanges of drivel, but on a busy thread, it often gets a little annoying having to wade through a pile of S### looking for a pony.

1. Will ATM return to favor, in the Tech world and in the investment world?
2. Will FORE remain a market leader? Do they have proprietary technologies that can keep them there?
3. What do the TA guys think? Although I think a company should be bought on fundamentals, TA has a wide following, and often affects short term movement significantly.
4. What are the investment houses saying? Again, also not helpful in determining good companies, but sure drag the market with them with their comments.

Looking forward to SI being an excellant source of worthwhile information. Maybe someone should start an "Unfounded Rumors" thread right under the Jokes.

Thanks for listening, jas
