OT: <<if ANY stock gets way out of whack in either direction, justifiable corresponding buys or sells should follow>>

This certainly seems reasonable and unarguable - but I will anyway -gg-. I don't see selling because the stock has moved up a lot or quickly as necessarily correct. Maybe I am missing what the point is of doing detailed research. If it's to determine fair value of a stock- the undervalued nature of a stock- then I logically would expect somebody (who has delved so deeply into MRVC) to buy undervalued and sell at full or fair valued. In between is a hold. (That'd be MY logic anyway -g-)

The actions taken that I see - for whatever reason - are (if I can recall correctly) buying tons at 50 or less, and starting now to sell off at 71+. There isn't much real safety -undervaluedness - to me - if the stock is undervalued at 50 but only worth 70. It seems to me that selling at 71 must really be a feeling or sensing trade - too much in an account so trimming the position, guessing that the run might be slowing down or bad news might be forthcoming, or trading in and around a core position. I do that too. I call it gambling.

Maybe it's as Thomas DeGagne says here: "You need neither information nor knowledge to make money on one stock in the short term."

Anyway, my congratulations to all who bought lower recently and bought heavily and are now considering or actually reaping the benefits. I am in there for a VERY small taste too.

And I continue to mostly hold on as best I can through ups and downs because I still see MRVC as undervalued also.
