Jerald, if this man is an Orthodox Jew, then my name is Haider!! GGG This man knows less about Jewsish relgion than my his gentile running-mate.Orthodox Jews are obervant Jews, they don't do many thing on Shabat(Saturday!)What is he crazy? How is he going to be the Vice President of the United States and hangle nations affaire and be an Orthodox. Orthodox jews even don't ride the elevator on Sturadys! GGG Yep, all of this was in the same article that was explaining ing why it was OK for him to violate Shabat by voting on legislative issues: because people's welfare depended on it (gag!). IMNSHO the newspaper article was trying to play up his religious beliefs as an appeal to jewish voters while pretending to downplay them. I hope this attempt to politicize his political beliefs and use them in Gore's favor (say, to help him win New York) becomes so transparently hypocritical that it blows right up in their faces.
