I don't know what you mean. The US is a much more free society than Canada. They keep De Beers out because De Beers operation is not conducive to a market economy. All that seems to be changing. Maybe De Beers will be able to do business in the US. Also, unlike Canadians, Americans don't go running to their government everytime they feel that they didn't get a good deal. When I read the posts of people saying we should run to the government to complain about De Beers offer I almost puked. How embarrassing to be Canadian. Cheers
