The 2 German auctions are over and netted DEM 99B or about $47B. S&P and other rating agencies are busy downgrading the companies which won a license, while weaker stocks, like Mobilkom, or Telefonica are being trounced at the exchanges. If the concept is flawed, I see some BK candidates....the 18B paid for a license for example exceed the equity of Mobilkom by far...which relies on bank loans to finance its license,...which makes me puzzling why they couldn't issue a debt paper.
