In post 1659, the table shows the semi-equip performance over a rising 4 week period in August to September 1999. The semi-equips this week nearly matched that performance. The group and SOX-X are up 19 percent for the week while the NASDAQ is up 4 percent. I nominate this week to be called the "stealth semi-equip rally". When the people come back from their vacations after labor day they will find the semi rally has left the starting gate without them.<gg>. 30 stocks are up for the week, only 3 are down. PRIA leads the group - up 49 percent. ASYT, NVLS and MTSN are tied for 3rd place - up 35 percent.
