I had the opportunity to upgrade to the Millennium edition and have come to regret it. It may be a fine OS for a user with the right needs. The only problem that I have and I find it a nuisance, is that I have to reboot several times a day as my system resources diminish into the upper 30% range and things start to slow down. For instance when I click on the favorites button it can take several seconds for the menu to drop down. Also when I change browser windows there can be a couple second delay until the new window appears. This is all probably due to the fact that I'm on the internet for about eight consecutive hours. When I'm trading stocks I have 3 browser windows open, plus one mIRC chat site and a one click stock trading site that uses about 30% of my system resources. I thought it might be a ram problem but I was able to borrow another 128 meg's to bring the system to 256 and it's still relatively the same. My processor is a 466 Celeron and I'm using Explorer 5.5. I did not experience this slow down with either Windows 98 or SE. So I'm probably going back to SE.
