"I mean, which portion of his statement will WS focus on, the shortage or the tag line that they still intend to meet 2000 estimates."

El. I couldn't agree more. What is it about working for Compaq that makes people stick their foot in their mouth? If Compaq is going to make its number, why talk about the parts shortage problem at all? A little blurb in the next quarterly report saying that parts management has been difficult but is being managed would be sufficient. This way, it gives everyone the impression that Capellas is already making his excuses if they miss a quarter. Every time I start to get pumped about this pig, they do something to screw it up. I can hear CNBC now. "Compaq falls on parts shortage concerns." And to think, Capellas did it to us. Damn.
