Anticipated sales after production starts - well that's a tall order! I hope they have lots of beginnings, which is my way of saying that LUMM's particular process in sales is to initiate a contact with a possible purchaser, get their needs and desires and produce a chip just for them, custom made to their specifications, produce the prototype, test it, give it to the prospective customer for test and evaluation, meet with them to work out any bugs and make improvements and adjustments to permit the design and production of the final prototype. And then if all are satisfied a production quantity is finalized and produced and delivered. All in all that can take months to go through. With competitive pressures these prospects will likely demand NDA - Non Disclosure Agreements - so no announcement will come from LUMM or them.

The process LUMM has chosen appears to me to be remarkably sensible. One which given time will produce satisfied happy customers and repeat business by the ton and a terrific reputation in the industry.

So sales are anticipated by the boatload, but we won't know about them! As the rate of production is set at 500 chips/day initially, starting Jan. 1/2001, but likely earlier, I expect LUMM anticipates that amount of sales.

Their technology is proprietary: 1) protected by US, Canadian and world wide patent coverage. and, as well 2) by trade secrets covering in particular the sol-gel recipe. Further patent protection will be sought on new developments recently made, in due time.

The stock price in 6 months would be, lets see, that would put us in the middle of Feb./2001. Production established, contacts being made, 500 chips being produced daily, ramping up to 1000 chips/day, Cisco's endorsement, hopefully and plant #2 well on the way. I'd guestimate north of $100.

BTW, take a look at the site in posting #1 if you want info on LUMM, There's lots there.

There will be more info, too, after I include the LUMM patents that your posting prompted me to add. Thanks.
