I'd be excited if I had any cash to take advantage of a lot of bargains. Almost all I have is in my IRA,so I don't do options (think I can do CC, but I'm way too dense, so I just give money to my son to do it for me). Most is buy and hold, so I don't trade anything either. I finally started some profit taking just to get cash, but not with my biggies like CSCO and INTC. Gotta tell you, it may be profitable, but it is boring, and I look forward to the time I can start hitting the casino.
Yeah, Dealie, top to bottom, Calif. grows almost everything, and usually more than anybody else. I don't know how long, tho; the first time I saw Silicon Valley, it was the Santa Clara Valley, fruit basket of the world. Then, one day, from a friend's apartment, I watched them bulldoze down the last apricot orchard in Palo Alto.
