Carl -

I appreciate your effort in publishing a 'simple' example, but it's not going to be trivial for me to try to see if any of the simplifying assumptions effectively throw out the baby with the bath water.

While I take an extended period (days?)to puzzle over it, please give me an answer or opinion on my truly simple question -

"If the founder of a company owns the land the company sits on, and for his own reasons allows the company to remain rent-free, does the company still need to list a rent/lease expense?"

Thanks, Don
