Jorj, I am astonished by your question. What I said was that da_cheif was following Luc around, not vice versa. You say this is exactly what has "been going on concerning LG on the clown thread." How so?
I haven't been following what's going on with LG, I do have a life outside of SI, and I have a few boards that I follow, none of which LG posts on. But I am aware that LG has been posting all over SI, e.g., I know for a fact the Qualcomm thread and the Porch, asking people to come join him on threads he has set up accusing the people on the Clown thread of being in a septic tank. Which threads SI has eradicated. LG has also accused certain individuals of being thugs, and some of those individuals have confronted him. So it looks like you are equating the acts of several individuals with the acts of one individual.
The problem with that analysis is that these several individuals are actually separate people. Get it? And they don't control each other. Like I asked LG once why he banned me from the moderated MDD thread, and found out it was because a long time ago, in 1998, when he posted something on Mike Burke's thread, I accused him of trying to stifle free speech. I never posted on the MDD thread, never disrupted it, didn't even know I was banned until I tried to post a link to Heinz that was relevant to something he was saying there. But LG doesn't like me, which is fine by me, because I have no respect for his judgment. Anyway, that's one incident of someone from the clown-free thread talking to LG. Multiply that all you want, it's still the acts of different individuals, and one times one equals one. Five posts from five of us is 25 posts, but it's still only five posts per person. But what da_cheif did was 25 or more posts from one person to one person, a barrage of semi-comprehensible, tasteless, uninteresting word salad.
You might take notice that I am being followed around and taunted by Joel Gander, whom I have asked to leave me alone. If you have any influence over him, please ask him to quit posting to me. |
