Metastock creates a .png format chart by default. Be sure to transfer this .png file along with the .htm file when you upload. Some browsers may not handle .png files correctly, so .jpg may be a reasonable option, it's just a radio button choice when you have MS 'save as HTML'.

When I was posting charts, I used MS Photo Editor to convert from .png to .gif files which I know can be read by all browsers, but no one complained about the .png files either, so maybe it wasn't necessary.

I used Netscape composer for the little bit of HTML I did. I don't recommend it for anything very complex.
