I am still hopeful for a competing bid on Tuesday or even Wednesday. I suppose Thursday or Friday are even possible, that would piss off US shareholders big time though. Fundy is right, it would be foolish not to bid. If I had an extra 500 million I would be bidding. I would like to see some sort of stock deal, The list of possibles is pretty small though. I was really hoping Cameco would step in. They had wanted to diversify away from just uranium. I don't think their venture into gold was a very good one. At the time who would have thought POG would stay where it is? I think they could do well with Snap. They sure do know the environmental side of things. And they are big enough to nuke De Beers.

If we join the US, not only would our taxes be lower, we would also get to vote for the polititions that shape our society. Let's face it. Other than tax us and piss us off, Ottawa isn't good for much.

Cheers
