Just what would GE be doing with all of those LEDs?
Hmm, just a thought, but how would light bulb replacements go over in California if there were nearly zero power consumption and operated just as well during brownouts?

I'm not sure how many blue/white LEDs it would take to replace a 40 or 60 watt bulb, but I suspect less than a million.
