Is oil thicker than human rights? We are faced with this particular news item a classical struggle between moral predicament and political avarice. At the moment oil prices are more important than these 'silly' human right issues. Once replacement of oil is found the 'champions of human rights' will be out in hordes and will find no difference in conduct of savages in Afghanistan and Saudi.
