Dan3, >P4 is entry level for $2,000 and PIII is midrange for $3,500? What's up with that? When the next generation P5 comes out will it be saleable only in entry level $1,000 and under PCs? Simple. Looks like Intel intends to push Foster for mid-range workstations, and entry and mid-range servers, starting in 1H00. They will continue PIII for some entry and midrange workstations and low end servers because of the momentum those have with the big 4 OEMs. Looks like P4 is really intended for the desktop. That's where the high GHz has the most glitter. BTW, the P4 entry workstations are shown as 2 - 3.5K, not 2K as you say. You are trying to become the master of FUD. Tony
