Digital Power Corporation (Amex: DPW - news) announced that they received a $1.7 million annual contract for a custom, high density 300 watt switching power supply from a leading provider of turnkey carrier-class data storage and storage area network (SAN) solutions for Internet-generation applications. These systems are used by many of the world's leading financial institutions, telecommunications companies, government agencies, and Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
