Re: The whole idea of referring to those who disagree as "clowns" is likely an important piece of this problem. Someone disagrees with me, therefore they're a "clown", "idiot", "fool", "Bozo", "moron" or whatever. Such a label makes it easy to dismiss them and their statements. And elevates me by knocking them down.

Let me paraphrase your statements in the hopes of making my point clearer. "Those idiots are too stupid to understand market-related things so they taunt us all the time."

SI Admin Bob,

I think you missed the point of my post. Maybe I shouldn't have used Clown and anti-clown.

Would you please look into the some of the new "problem" posters that showed up as new posters at the end of July. We were all given a free membership to give away. I did nothing with mine, but it seems to me that other SI posters who disagree with the point of view of the Clown Free Zone have given their free memberships to themselves. They then have used this "alias" to come and taunt us. Look at "da chief" for example. He is a new member in this timeframe. As noted by some of the posters on the Clown Free Zone, he/she uses some of the same expressions of other long time SI posters which would lead you to believe that he/she is the same person.

regards,

chic
