I'm sure it did leave a bad taste in the mouths of minorities who have been lapping up their daily quota of the government dole for so long, that they cannot begin to fend for themselves. It is time they learned the art of self reliance. For someone who is "supposed" to have, at least, a modicum of education, you don't seem to be able to grasp the ideals of this nation that were built upon the foundation of a family that looks after one another, and learns how to stand erect in the eyes of their fellow men, with no hand out to beg.

You say you have lived in Washington for 50 years(a dubious distinction. It means that you don't get around much), which indicates that you were not born there, which makes you in the range of 60 to 70 years old. IMO, you are so, desperately, afraid of the reduction in government because you have not yet received all of the benefits that you have counted on to maintain yourself all these years. That makes you a leech on society. In the rivers of Africa, real men burn leeches of their backs with burning sticks. How do you want to go?? ~H~
