We have some great entries so far and Lurkers and Posters alike might be able to make a buck or two studying these picks.
I'm always impressed when I see different people on the board choosing the same stock.
For instance, when Hetty and Bcrafty both think GLW is going to be the biggest mover, I pay attention. I know Hetty is one smart cookie and when her pick is seconded by Bcrafty, well you can pretty much bet this stock is going to move.
And not to take anything away from anybody, but there are two other powerhouses agreeing on the same stock. Tommy and Shawing both think SCMR is going to move. Shaw has a great track record on these boards as well as Tommy.
Newport picked SONS. I know that Newport does a tremendous lot of research so my guess this stock will be moving.
And last but not least, Drbob picked SDLI. When Drbob talks I listen.
If the contests in the past are any indication of the performance of these picks, everyone will do great. Sorry I don't have time to single everybody out, but I just feel the minds on this board are every bit as good as any analyst's picks on CNBC.
I know, I'm a master at stating the obvious. In fact, we're better than CNBC,
Oh, I almost forgot. A few people (Disu, Mike, and Uptick) are extremely knowledgeable and they chose Berkshire.
This stock, of course, moves by huge numbers on a daily basis and these guys have a very good chance of winning.
But this particular stock is just as likely to go down.
So these guys are either going to be in first or last place.
