OT I'm surprised more discussion hasnt been talked about on here about the potential alliance Transmeta and AMD may be about to announce (a la AMD and Motorola) I think this is potentially big news... but it seems to have been ignored here.. or maybe its just you're all secretly reading the discussion that was going on about it at the AMD Mod. thread:)

I'm not really surprised it hasn't been picked up on the mod thread.

Transmeta isn't an engineering feat, nor is it well-respected in the engineering community; it has more flavor on the business/market side of the equation, than the engineering side.
