Morning, Jorj, logging from Kinko's on Market Street in Philly, a vente latte from Starbucks at my side.
My hotel is in Chinatown, just a couple of blocks away, when I step out the front door all I see are signs in Chinese and VietNamese characters, and Chinese and VietNamese people walking around purposefully.
Completely different perspective here. Clears the mind.
Beautiful weather, too. We (husband and I) toured Independence Hall yesterday, and all the other historical buildings, today is the art museum.
No, I don't want you to build your case. If you think I have double standards, so be it. Maybe I do. I like my friends, and I don't like people who are nasty to me, or are nasty to my friends. I don't pretend to be anything but human.
Yes, I see a lot of unpleasant stuff going on, but I don't think I am perpetuating it personally. Maybe I am wrong about that, too. I do my best to ignore it and concentrate on the stuff I like. It makes life easier. |
