Clappy are you serious? Are you really canning? Yeah. We are going to try to use up some of those 10,000,000 tomatoes. Some of the sauce we will freeze and some we will put into jars. I'm a lousy chef, but I figure it's something we can do together and have some fun with it. She's gonna help me with the basic stuff that I have no clue with. Like how to prepare the tomatoes and stuff like that. Then she is going to make one batch with her ingredients and I'll make one batch with my ingredients. Then we'll see how they compare. I'm looking for a few recipes. (Don't tell her though. I want her to think I'm creating this completely by myself...) I love Italian Food. Especially dipping my bread into the sauce... Yum! Did you give Drea a bunch of canning jars for her birthday? Ha! I don't think I'd get away with that. :^) One year I gave her a washing machine. It didn't go over very well... I figured a nice appliance would make a wonderful gift. She did appreciate it later on though. She was getting tired of carrying the cloths down to the river and beating them on a rock... I'm toying with the idea of buying her season tickets to the NY Giants next year... Good idea? :^) One year I think I bought her a vacuum. What was I thinkin'... I have to admit, she's always has been a sport about it. I've brought home a lot of silly gifts over the years. <Clappy looks up at the ceiling fan and removes the red bow from it...> -ChefClappy
