Hi RWS,
Thank you for your curious reply and, frankly, I don't think you've thought through your position all that well... in fact, blaming my attitude for the actions of the career criminal is highly illogical, inappropriate, and unnecessary... I think that once you become a victim of a violent crime you'll probably see the light... a slap on the wrist is not justice, we all know that the U.S. criminal justice system has failed miserably because of second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eight chances and so on ad nauseum... simply put, we all need to be accountable for our actions, especially those that violate the public trust, abuse the civic peace, and commit violent crimes against weak and unsuspecting people trying to live their lives uninterrupted with murder, rape, and home invasion... the criminal gets away with repeating those same crimes again and again because all they receive is a polite warning tantamount to 'please don't do that again.'
Best Regards,
