Tiger, why do you so completely believe a known liar? And a protector of a grosser liar?

Seriously, do you really thing we would have anything near a balanced budget if a Republican Congress wasn't elected in 92? Did you miss all the times Clinton/Gore and the Democratic leaders said "we can't balance the budget within 10 years without *starving children*"?

I'm curious, are you paid by some liberal constituents for your opinions, or do you truly believe them? I sincerely hope you're paid for them, because otherwise, your memory and analysis is truly out-of-wack.

It's amazing to me how frozen liberal Democratic minds are to objective reality.

Let me ask you this...When Gore said in his speech, he believes parents should be in charge of their kids lives. Do you see (mentally) the disconnection between not allowing parental choice in education with that statement? I really want to understand how a liberal mind works. Do they simply not see the disconnection, or do they rationalize it away because they are so drummed up with *fear* from Republicans?

Further, do you really believe Al Gore cares about poor people and what kind of education they're getting? Do you think he wants to help that family in downtown Seattle, who can't afford a decent private school next year to find an alternative solution which will educate their kids NOW?

And why do you think so many leading Democratic politicians extol the virtues of public schools, while at the same time, send their kids almost unanimously to private exclusive schools? Don't the poor deserve the same opportunity to a decent education in K-1 thru K-12 as the Democrats are always touting for college bound children?

I mean really, if you say (as a Democrat) that you care about children. Why wouldn't you care enough to take on the special interest lobby groups (such as the NEA) who are keeping quality education from poor children? Why wouldn't you want to expand the success so many poor children are experiencing in areas such as Milwaukee to the rest of the children stuck in lousy school districts?

The mayor of Milwaukee is a Democrat and strongly supports vouchers and charter schools now that he's seen the results and the desire by parents to expand the programs. Why won't the Democratic leaders put children ahead of a few million dollars in campaign money?

Don't our children deserve the BEST education we can give them? Don't they deserve to have Democratic politicians (such as Al Gore) fight for them and a quality education? Instead of fighting for the entrenched bureaucrats in Washington D.C.?
