RR & Gang:

RR - Thanks for the holdings report- I'm keeping an eye on Extr. I loved the "4 trades to a million" talk - quite inspirational, and I haven't forgotten it one bit. One of your other sayings that has kind of stuck with me lately is (I cannot quote you exactly) "keep taking small profits..." I'm working on that this month, I'm definately in this market, and trying to be somewhat careful at the same time. So far...so good. Its been a good month for me.

Just wanted to share this : Last year was my first year in the market. I got lucky with VIGN and OEI (both pure beginners luck), then did well with INTC, JDSU, AMZN (x2). Then I started getting into technology, and wanted to buy everything I heard about. What worked really well for me was setting a limit of $2,000 to work with for each of the stocks I wanted - I think I had up to 12-15 that I acquired from December thru February. Voxx, Sebl, Gmst, Rnwk, Lighpath, Ntap, Verisign, Redback, Starbase, CMGI - you get the picture...anyway, this system did very well for me (yes, on the pricey ones, I bought whatever I could get for $2K - even if it was only 4 or 5 shares) and then took the profits quickly and moved on...it all added up quite nicely - worked for me anyway!

Anyway, just wanted to share this with the porch fwiw! Thanks to everyone for sharing their stories!

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend.
