Carl:
Glad to have your lying FUD back. IDF is on Tuesday so stock price should climb if you keep posting.

The nichedom of RDRAM is now quite fully established, and this means that prices should eventually stabilize at niche pricing, around 50% over SDRAM

I have noticed that RIMM pricing has come down but no where it as inexpensive as SDRAM. The BIGGEST problem I see for DDR pricing is that the continued severe shortage in DRAM supply which is getting worse, should keep DDR at a premium close in price to RDRAM. This is highly analogous situation at which RDRAM was last year.

Additionally, I think the lack of good DDR chipsets for Intel microprocessors should keep DDR in nichedom for a long while regardless of what you say.

By the way, I'm still waiting for MAJC to show up, it's getting kind of boring

Now that someone has posted tonight that Compaq has won a $150 M goverment contract for next supercomputer over SUNW, IBM and SGI; guess what type of memory interface is included. It surely is not DDR which is dead, dead, dead.
