WHO KNEW?

Didn't have any clue Worldcomm was going to offer fixed wireless. Certainly lends more validity and opportunity to the sector. From the Bull Market Report:

<<<4. WORLDCOM TO OFFER FIXED-WIRELESS IN 60 MARKETS

WorldCom (WCOM, $35.50, up 2, 5%) filed for permission to offer
fixed-wireless services in more than 60 markets throughout the U.S. If
given licensing authority, the company will provide broadband wireless
services to carry Internet, data, and voice communications at high speeds
without the need for traditional cable or fiber optic networks.

COMMENT: This represents a big step in a new direction. Worldcom is
attempting to de-emphasize its traditional long-distance operations in
favor of high-growth areas such as Internet and data communications, and
we see this as positive news for investors. WorldCom intends to launch
the new service in the fourth quarter of this year.>>>

Now whose equipment are they going to use?
