Jim,
I have owned the companies stock for close to 2 years now and it is exactly the lack of news that bothers me. The stock has dropped in price now close to 30 percent in the past week and there was no news. I have read about their OpenRoute products in news releases, but have not seen them offered for sale in the ads of other companies. That was the reason for my comparision to BRE-X. Are we to learn shortly that there in truth are no new products and the entire matter has been just a way for the major stockholders to dump more of their stock?

I know that since the company is not making any money, the value of their stock has no basic of evening being at $2.00 per share except for the fact that they are supposed to have so much money in cash. The fact that the price of the stock is dropping so fast makes this information suspect. Proteon even stated that they were going to repurchase some of the company stocks. Could it be that the major stockholders want to price to drop so any purchase by the company will thus increase their percentage of ownership? But to own 100% of nothing is still nothing.
