Scumbria, Re: Intel's management has made many fundamental missteps over the last few years. Merced is a complete disaster. Rambus was inexcusable. Willy appears to have some serious problems. All these IMO are just your opinion. Beside, if we talk about missteps, AMD's missteps have been costing it big times which has already reflected in its financial statements during the past 3 to 4 years which is not just opinions but facts :-) "In contrast, Athlon seems to be almost a perfect design built on fundamentally sound principles." It seems that it cannot beat a 6 years old crapy design. gary
